Today's hymn is old-actually very old. The words are from the 9th century and look to Christ's triumphal return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. When Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, hopeful crowds filled the streets waving palm branches saying: "Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord." As we sing this powerful Palm Sunday hymn, let your voice and your heart sing once again these thrilling words.
